I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The rooms were cozy and clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly. However, the bathroom was tiny but well-appointed. The location was excellent, right behind the Chartres Cathedral, making it convenient to explore the area. I was a bit disappointed with the shower facilities, which were not up to par. Despite this, I found the value for money reasonable.
The hotel is located in a former monastery just around the corner from the Cathedral, in a cellar with a vaulted ceiling. The rooms offer lovely views and are accompanied by lovely new bathrooms. The sitting space is divided into individual tables and three long tables adjacent to other guests, creating a cozy atmosphere.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The location is phenomenal, right behind the Chartres cathedral, and in the center of town. The rooms offer a fantastic view over the old town below, and the vaulted ceiling adds to the charm.
